My love for sneakers started back in grammar school on the South Side of Chicago. In Chicago Public Schools, wearing the wrong kicks could easily make you a target, so style wasn’t just fashion — it was survival. My friends and I would circle our favorite sneakers in the Eastbay magazine, betting on who could get them first. I still remember the day I won that bet begging for a pair of Nike Air Force V Highs with the tag still on. That was the moment my sneaker obsession truly began.

Over the years, my journey in the U.S. military has taken me around the world, exposing me to sneaker culture from different corners of the globe. Each place I’ve traveled has expanded my appreciation for how sneakers connect people through design, history, and expression. Every couple of years, I’d realize my collection had outgrown my closet, leading to yard sales with at least ten pairs up for grabs.

That passion combined with my love for shopping, discovering deals, and curating quality footwear led to the creation of this site. Every sneaker in my inventory comes from trusted retail stores, outlet malls, and verified online sources.
